2. What data we collect and why
We process the data you give us yourself: your name, e-mail address, phone number and the content of messages sent by e-mail, through a form or by phone. If you book a stay, we also need an address to issue a receipt or invoice, and for companies a name and tax number. Bookings are handled by the system on borszowka.pl, run by the same controller.
We use the data to answer your enquiry, prepare an offer, handle your booking and stay, keep accounts, and defend or pursue legal claims.
3. Legal basis and retention
We process data on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), steps before entering into and performance of a contract (point b), legal obligations such as tax and accounting rules (point c), and our legitimate interest in securing evidence for possible claims (point f). Enquiry data is kept until the matter is closed, booking data and accounting documents for the period required by law.
4. Who receives your data
Data may be passed to the service providers we use: hosting, e-mail, the booking and payment system, and our accountant. We do not sell data.
5. Cookies
This website uses necessary cookies that keep it working and, only with your consent, Google Analytics cookies (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC). They help us understand how visitors use the site. Data may be transferred to the USA under the safeguards provided by the GDPR. We do not use advertising cookies.
On your first visit a banner lets you choose. You can change your decision at any time with the “Cookies” button at the bottom left of the page on a computer, or by clearing the site data in your browser. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, which may affect some features. Content from other companies, such as review widgets, may load their own cookies.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable form and object to processing based on our legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. We reply to requests within 30 days. Please send your request to info@starymlynszklarska.pl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych).
