The rental price for a house in Szklarska Poręba in 2026 depends mainly on the season, the length of stay and the number of people. At Ośrodek Borszówka, prices start at attractive off-season rates and rise during peak periods such as summer holidays, winter school breaks or New Year’s Eve. In our houses you get full privacy, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable conditions and mountain views — no compromises.

The cheapest dates — when to book?
The lowest house prices in Szklarska Poręba can be found in months such as March, April, May (outside the early-May holidays) and November to early December. It’s the ideal time for anyone who values peace and quiet, no crowds, and the best value for money.
The busiest periods are: winter school holidays, long weekends, summer holidays (July–August), and Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
For these dates, we recommend booking even several months in advance — houses get booked up fastest.
What are the check-in/check-out times?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM, check-out is by 10:00 AM.
Can I get a VAT invoice for my stay?
Yes, but only if you provide us with your invoice details at the time of booking or before making a partial payment for your stay. Our online booking system has an option to add invoice details.

Is a deposit required when booking?
Yes, a first payment is required to guarantee the reservation. Depending on the start date of your stay, it may count as full payment, an advance, or a deposit. The remaining balance is paid on arrival — it’s best to confirm the exact terms when you contact us.
What payment methods are accepted?
We mainly accept bank transfer, card payment, and mobile BLIK payments. Our online booking system additionally accepts Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Is the price per house or per person?
The price applies to the whole house and covers a set number of people. A surcharge may apply for a larger number of guests.
Are weekends more expensive?
Yes — weekend stays are usually more expensive than weekday stays due to higher demand. You’ll get the best prices by booking a stay from Sunday to Friday.
How much does a house cost on New Year’s Eve?
New Year’s Eve is the most in-demand date of the year, so prices are set individually and may be higher than standard rates. If you’re planning a stay during this period, please contact us as early as possible for a current offer.
Can I rent the whole guesthouse exclusively?
Yes. We accept group bookings for the entire guesthouse, with 8 rooms for 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 people, for up to 27 people in total. If the guesthouse doesn’t have enough space for your group, you can additionally book 1, 2, 3 or 4 Górskie Domki (mountain houses), or 1 or 2 STARY MŁYN apartments.
Can the venue host a wedding reception?
Yes, that’s possible — we’ve hosted several weddings and receptions. It’s best to ask about the details through direct contact.

How many people can stay in a house?
The house is prepared for up to 9 people.
Can I check in earlier?
We make houses and rooms available as early as possible. The standard check-in time is 3:00 PM, but rooms and houses are often ready earlier. Even if we can’t hand over the house/room yet, you’re always welcome to leave your car with us and wait a little while it’s being prepared.
What accommodation options are available?
Guests can choose between rooms in the guesthouse (for 2, 3, 4 or 5 people), comfortable Górskie Domki for up to 9 people with their own kitchen and bathroom, and STARY MŁYN apartments for up to 10 people.
Are extra beds and cots for children available?
Yes, some rooms have so-called extra beds, which are standard-size 90×200 beds. We can also equip your room/house with a cot for small children, a toilet seat reducer, a baby bath, and a step stool. Please let us know in advance when booking.
Is there internet access in the rooms and houses?
Yes, all rooms and houses have access to free, fast fibre-optic WiFi.
Are towels and bedding provided in the rooms and houses?
Yes, both houses and rooms are prepared to hotel standard, so they include towels, bedding and pool towels.
What’s the standard of the guesthouse rooms?
Guesthouse rooms include a bathroom (with towels and a hairdryer), a smart LED TV with an active Netflix app, a mini fridge, a kettle with tea, bedding, pool towels and a toiletries set.
What’s the standard of the houses?
The houses include a bathroom with a large shower cubicle, hairdryer, towels, bedding, a clothes dryer and sun loungers. The kitchen is fully equipped, including dishwasher tablets, dish soap, hand soap, a stove, pots, plates, glasses and mugs, a portafilter espresso machine, a Turkish coffee pot, a drip coffee maker, a juicer, a microwave, a fridge and a dishwasher. There’s also a smart LED TV with an active Netflix app (as well as YouTube and other apps). The living room has a fireplace with a real fire. Outside there’s a private garden with a terrace, garden furniture and a concrete grill. If needed, a vacuum cleaner and other cleaning accessories are also provided.
Is the house heated?
Every house is heated, with the temperature in each room individually controllable via an electronic thermostat.
Are there accessibility features for guests with disabilities?
The guesthouse is not fully barrier-free due to the stairs. However, the ground floor has an apartment for up to 5 people with two bedrooms and two bathrooms that is barrier-free. The houses, meanwhile, are prepared for guests with disabilities with only minimal small thresholds.
Amenities & attractions
What amenities does the guesthouse offer?
A pool (in season), a hot tub – Russian-style banya (on request, additional charge), a sauna with a stream view (on request, additional charge), a large grill/bonfire shelter, a bonfire area, a volleyball court, plenty of green space, hammocks and sun loungers. The guesthouse also has a winter and a summer terrace for larger gatherings. There’s also a fireplace lounge, a children’s room and a dining room.
How much do the hot tub and sauna cost?
The banya and sauna are prepared exclusively on individual guest request, at a cost of 250 PLN for the banya and 100 PLN for the sauna, regardless of the number of people or how long you’d like to use it during the session. Because heating the banya’s 3 tonnes of water to a temperature of 38–40°C takes a long time, we ask you to book in advance so the banya is ready around 6:00 PM.
Can I light a grill on site?
Yes, grill spots and a grill/bonfire shelter are available. Every house is also equipped with its own grill.
Is breakfast included in the room price for guesthouse guests?
Breakfast is available for an additional fee, served buffet-style. The breakfast time can be arranged according to guests’ preferences.
Can breakfast be ordered to the houses?
Yes, it’s possible to order breakfast delivered to the houses. Breakfast is normally served in the guesthouse, which is right next to the houses, buffet-style. For a slightly higher fee, breakfast can also be delivered directly to your house, in a wicker basket.
Can I bring a pet?
Pets are welcome in Górskie Domki and in the STARY MŁYN apartments, with no extra fees. In the guesthouse, pets up to 12 kg are welcome, unless you’re renting the entire guesthouse exclusively, in which case there’s no weight limit.
Are there any coffee-making devices in the house?
Yes, there are 3 different ways to make coffee: a portafilter espresso machine, a drip filter coffee maker, and a Turkish coffee pot. All three require ground coffee.
Can a bonfire be organised?
Yes, simply let our staff know and we’ll prepare the right amount of chopped firewood for you. We don’t charge any extra fee for the bonfire.
Is using the pool paid?
No, using the pool doesn’t involve any additional charge.
Location & getting here
Where is Ośrodek BORSZÓWKA located?
The property is located in Biała Dolina — the most beautiful part of Szklarska Poręba — 2.1 km from the town centre. Major hiking trails and ski lifts are nearby, and the drive to the centre takes about 5 minutes by car, or correspondingly longer on foot.
Is parking available for guests?
Yes, we have a large parking area with room for everyone. We don’t charge for parking.
How far is the guesthouse from the main attractions of the town?
It’s about a 5-minute drive to the centre of Szklarska Poręba. The area has hiking trails, cycling routes and ski lifts.
Do I need snow chains in winter?
The paved roads leading to our property have a relatively gentle slope and are a priority for snow clearing in winter, so chains are recommended. Whenever driving into the mountains in winter, it’s always worth considering bringing chains for at least two wheels.
Families with children
Is the guesthouse suitable for families with children?
Yes — for children, there’s a large playground with a slide, swings and a fitness module, an indoor play area, a volleyball court, a room for louder play, and plenty of green space. Our little stream is often a hit with kids too — it’s shallow enough that the water only reaches their knees at most.

Can we use the kitchen?
Górskie Domki and the Stary Młyn apartments have fully equipped kitchens with all the necessary accessories. Guesthouse rooms come with a kettle, a mini fridge and access to dishware.
Are group events or team-building gatherings possible?
Yes, on request we can organise team-building events or gatherings in the fireplace lounge or on the winter terrace.
What’s worth bringing for your stay?
We recommend bringing swimwear (for the pool and banya), sports shoes, groceries for self-catering in the houses, and a good mood for relaxing in nature!
